BMW’s Less Radical 2009 7-Series

Even though Chris Bangle’s signature flame surfacing and butt-up design elements have found their way into more cars that you ever imagined possible, the current 7-Series was, and still is, considered as one ugly duckling that paid no homage at all to its sleek predecessors. That’s about to change with the next generation of BMW’s luxury sedan, which was caught here by Car Online’s spy photographers.

Despite the heavy camouflage, it is apparent that both versions of the new 7-Series (short and long-wheel-base) will bear a cleaner and sportier design language. Though BMW officials have declined to answer any questions concerning the product launch of the new 7-Series, rumors have it that the luxury sedan will break cover at next year’s Paris Motor Show in September.
