A couple of weeks ago Mazda issued a press release stating that its Detroit Show stand will host the debut of the 2009 RX-8 (click here). Today, one of readers sent us a scanned shot from a Japanese car magazine featuring what seems to be the facelifed version of the RX-8. If the car in the picture does indeed show the actual facelift model, then differences include new front and rear bumpers, revised grille, headlamps and tailamps. We’ll know soon enough.
