Sexier than ever, the revised 2009 Lamborghini Gallardo dubbed LP560-4 was introduced at this year’s Geneva Show in March. Along with its Murcielago LP640 inspired restyling, the new Gallardo also received a power upgrade with its 5.2-liter V10 engine now pumping out 560 Hp –hence the LP560 naming with the “4” referring to the supercar’s permanent four-wheel-drive system.

219 MPH – 352 KM/H On A Public Road With A Lamborghini Murcielago!

Boy, is this the dumbest thing you’ve seen or what! We mean, as if going 219 Mph or 352 km/h with a Lamborghini Murcielago on a public road (Phoenix, Arizona's Loop 202 freeway) isn’t stupid enough, this guy was also “smart” enough to film his “achievements” and upload the video on Youtube! Even though he removed the video after TV stations showed the story (see after the jump), an unidentified number of internet users copied the film and uploaded it on Youtube! -Continued

In late November, Lamborghini staged a race between the $1.5 million Reventon supercar and a Tornado jet aircraft (A200-A) at the Ghedi military airport in Brescia, Italy. While the Lambo lead the race in the beginning, the jet fighter took over at the closing stages. Italian TV channel, TGF was there and they shot some scenes from the race. Top Gear’s hosts Jeremy Clarkson and Richard Hammond spend some time (1.41 min to be exact) in this clip talking about the $1.5 million Lamborghini Reventon (pics and details here). Lamborghini Reventon Test Drive by Popular Science

In all honesty, when a friend pointed out this video, we were not only convinced that it was a hoax, but a badly edited one too. However, before we made a fool of ourselves, we checked it out repeatedly comparing still images of the interior with the Lamborghini Reventon pictures (click here). To our surprise, we didn’t find any flaws or details supporting that what we were seeing here wasn’t the Reventon.

But seriously now; a big magazine like Popular Science gets the chance to drive an extremely rare (20 examples) and expensive ($1.5 million) supercar like the Lamborghini Reventon and this is what they come up with – an amateur taped and edited video that most people think it’s fake? Think it’s time we started asking for test drives here at Carscoop…
