Meridian Ferrari F80 All-In-One Digital Sound System

Meridian Audio has joined forces with Ferrari to create the F80 all-in-one digital transportable sound system that’s been designed to appeal both to the eye and to the ear –that sounds quite catchy, doesn’t it… The F80 that bears both the Meridian marque and Ferrari insignia, incorporates a CD/DVD player, AM/FM and DAB radio, and is compatible with any type of MP3 player including the iPod. -Continued

The audio system is available in five Ferrari colors – Rosso Corsa (red), Giallo Modena (yellow), Argento Nurburgring (silver), Nero (black) and Bianco Avus (off-white). It is sold through Meridian and Ferrari retailers and has a recommended retail price of 1,900 or $2,950.

Ferrari 360 Limousine for Sale on eBay

Remember the Ferrari 360 Limousine that created havoc a few months ago after the Italian supercar maker threatened to sue the British company that made it if it didn’t remove the Ferrari badges and logos (click here)? Well, that car is up for sale on eBay now by “StylishLimousines”. We’re not aware of what happened with Ferrari’s legal threats, but the 20 foot 360 Limo pictured on eBay has all its logos and badges intact. In case you’re wondering, the “Buy it Now” price on eBay is a staggering $250,000.

On a side note, as we visited “StylishLimousines” site to gather high res pics of the car, we discovered that our article on Ferrari’s threats was posted as is on the company’s site. To our surprise though, “StylishLimousines” referred a site called “dvorak” as the source. Nothing new, meaning that it’s not the first time that Carscoop’s articles have been stolen, but we did send “StylishLimousines” an email to correct the injustice. Let’s see if they respond… -More pics after the jump

Ferrari Inaugurates Two New Buildings, Announces New Employee Benefits

A different sort of unveiling took part today at Maranello as Ferrari’s President Luca di Montezemolo and CEO Amedeo Felisa presented two new buildings: the new Company Restaurant designed by architect Marco Visconti and the New Car Assembly Lines designed by architect Jean Nouvel, winner of this year’s internationally Pritzker Architecture Prize.

With the addition of these two new buildings,” stressed the President, “we have completed the renovation of the entire Car Production Area that began in the late 1990s, and has involved the investment of over 200 million euro. Next year we will be going one step further when we begin work on the new GES facility.” -Continued

We intend to create a working environment unlike any other anywhere in the world. A working environment where safety and environmental protection coexist in harmony in facilities designed and constructed with the workers’ needs in mind,” added Luca di Montezemolo.

Along with the official presentation of the two new buildings, Ferrari’s head officers also announced a series of new services for employees and their families. These range from free medical/fitness check-ups for all employees and their children, first and second home loans at competitive rates, personalised loans for family requirements, and discounts on school and university textbooks. Not a bad place to work is it…

Ferrari California Fully Exposed

While Ferrari had us glued on their dedicated California website waiting for the countdown to end in order to see more pictures of their hardtop convertible, at the same time the Italian sports carmaker gave German car magazine “Autobild” full access to the newest member of the Prancing Horse family. Not very “internety” of them, to say the least.

The new images give us our first view of the California’s interior which looks very similar in design to the one found in the more upscale Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano. Kinda toyish and far from the elegant cabins featured in the Ferraris of the past if you want our opinion. -More images after the jump

Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera Readying Ferrari Model?

Remember “Carozzeria Touring Superleggera”, the rejuvenated Italian coachbuilder that surprised us at this year’s Concorso d'Eleganza classic car show with the presentation of the Maserati A8CGS Berlinetta Coupe and the Maserati Quattroporte Bellagio Fastback Touring?

According to our Dutch friend Vincent from “Autoblog.nl”, the Italian coachbuilder is readying a custom made Ferrari model that will make its debut in the forthcoming months – maybe even at the Paris Auto Show this fall. Although this has not been confirmed yet, Carozzeria Touring Superleggera’s coupe will most probably be based on the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti.

Motorola Releases RAZR2 V9 Ferrari Special Edition Cell Phone

Motorola today announced the availability of its latest Ferrari branded cell-phone based on the RAZR2 V9. The first country to receive the phone is Singapore with the RAZR2 V9 Ferrari Special Edition being available exclusively to SingTel subscribers. If you’re wondering why, look no further than to the 2008 Formula 1 Singapore Grand Prix that’s sponsored by SingTel. -Continued

As you’d expect, the only differences between the original RAZR2 V9 and the Ferrari Special Edition model apart from the pricing, are purely cosmetic. You do of course get a fancy Ferrari-branded leather carry case and heaps of Ferrari wallpapers and ringtones, but that’s about it.

Chromed Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano

We gather that the owner if this Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano in Saudi Arabia took the saying “a car reflects its owner’s personality” a bit too literally… One thing’s for sure though; you’d never want to be next to this chromed 599 GTB in broad daylight especially in Saudi Arabia. Can you imagine the sun reflection? -One more pic after the jump

Ferrari California Stradale Study

While the newest model from Ferrari’s stable has yet to hit the road, fans of the Italian marque are already speculating on special edition versions, and in the case of the guys at CGI Automotive, they’ve even come up with a rendering of a sportier edition that could bear the Mondial or Stradale nametag among other choices. We don’t know if this artist’s rendering has anything to do with reality, but we too believe that in the near future Ferrari will proceed to the development of an even sportier variant of the coupe-cabriolet California.

F(i)errari Dino Replica for sale on eBay

We’ve seen more Pontiac Fieros transformed into Italian supercars than the actual car itself, so even if this is the first time that we’ve laid our eyes on a classic Ferrari Dino variant, we can’t say that we’re surprised. Despite the fact that the Dino replica wouldn’t even come close to fooling any car aficionado, we’d give the owner a C+ for at least attempting to create something different. -Continued
