Ontario to Ban Smoking in Cars with Children Under 16
In an attempt to protect kids from being exposed to second-hand smoking, Canadian officials in Ontario passed a government-backed bill that bans smoking in cars with children. Once the bill receives Royal Assent, the law will permit police officers to fine adults $250 CAD if they're caught smoking in a car carrying children under the age of 16.
