Valley City Puts Police Cars Up For Sale on eBay

Authorities from Valley City in North Dakota have begun auctioning their retired police cars on eBay instead of trading them to local dealers. As Commissioner Jon Wagar noted, while local dealers would give them about $1,000 for each car, on eBay, the city managed to sell two police vehicles for $3,400 and for $5,175. We can’t but applaud Valley City’s initiave on saving tax payers money.
