2009 Ford F-150 Undisguised: Rumors Of A 330 HP V8 Biturbo Diesel

The facelifted version of America’s best-selling full-size pickup for 30 years has been caught by Car Mag’s spy photographers totally undisguised. Visually, the 2009 Ford F-150 hasn’t changed much with the most significant difference being revised front-end with the three-bar chromed grille that’s inspired from the Peter Horbury-designed Super Chief concept truck that was shown at the Detroit Show in 2006. –Continued after the jump

However, according to Car Magazine, the biggest news is the addition of new diesel model which will be equipped with 4.4-litre V8 biturbo-unit delivering a hefty 330 HP and 525lb ft of torque. The V8 unit is derived form the 3.6-litre V8 diesel currently found in the Range Rover. The 2009 Ford F-150 will most probably break cover at the 2008 Detroit Show in January. -Via: Caronline
